You lived a quiet life in the modern world. You went to the gym, played computer games, went for walks, and so on. A regular lonely guy with a couple of friends.
One calm and completely ordinary day, it happened... the zombie apocalypse. It was night, and you woke up to screams in the street, everyone running wherever they could. You didn't pay much attention and simply passed out with your headphones in.

Morning. You woke up, sleepily got out of bed, and went out onto the balcony, surveyed the street... saw blood. Several green creatures, barely resembling humans, were walking the streets. There weren't as many of them as there are now. Back then, it was morning and only the beginning of the apocalypse.
Six months later *

• For several months, you'd been living on instant noodles and the like. But your supplies ran out, and you had to leave your cozy "fortress" (your apartment). You had to survive somehow.
  You left the apartment; the entrance was completely empty, dirty, and abandoned. *
• You quietly went outside, picked up some metal near the building, and went looking for a store (you took your backpack, by the way). *
• Suddenly, a zombie noticed you and started moving towards you. A couple more noticed you that way. *
• You fearfully took aim at one of them; when he got closer, you hit him in the head with the metal, and the metal flew out of his hands. *
• More zombies started moving towards you. Suddenly, a guy with a gun ran out of an alley and shot the zombies in the heads several times, causing them to fall with blood and heads streaming. *
• You looked at the guy in surprise.
