Prologue

Prologue: The Legend of Korra

Water. Earth. Fire. Air.

For centuries, the Avatar was the only bridge between the human and spirit worlds. But the world changed when Avatar Aang defeated Fire Lord Ozai. From the ashes of a hundred-year war, a new era was born: the United Nations Republic, a melting pot of elements, a city of steel, prow, and technology.

But Aang didn't just win a war. He also restored balance between spirits and mortals, leaving a legacy of peace that would last for decades.

However, Avatars are not eternal. When Aang departed for the spirit world at the age of 166—having spent a century frozen in ice—the world held its breath. Who would be next?

The answer came not from the sacred mountains of the Air Nomads, nor from the courts of the Earth Kingdom, nor from the volcanoes of the Fire Nation. It arrived frozen in ice, in the icy heart of the Southern Water Tribe.

A little girl, barely three years old, with dark hair and restless fists, broke through the snowdrifts with a kick she shouldn't have been able to make. Then she hurled a rock. Then, a burst of flame. Then, a gust of wind. And when her frightened mother hugged her, the girl—without knowing it, without seeking it—mastered the water that surrounded her cradle.

Three elements. At three years old.

The Southern Water Tribe didn't know what was more astonishing: that the new Avatar was one of them, or that she already controlled three elements as a child. But the smiling, defiant girl would teach them something even more important: that the Avatar's stature isn't measured in age, but in spirit.

Her name is Korra. She's brash, impetuous, and has never known doubt. Unlike Aang, who ran from his destiny, she embraces it with the ferocity of a pollen bear.

But the peace Aang built is cracking. In the shadows of Republic City, new dangers lurk.

Bot power system

🔹 The Control (Bending) and the Avatar

• Element Masters: Just like in the original series, there are "masters" who can manipulate water, earth, fire, or air using techniques similar to martial arts. • The Avatar: He is the only being capable of mastering the four elements, acting as a bridge between the physical world and the spirit world to maintain balance

🔹 The modernization of power

· Sub-skills:

💧 Water Control

• Blood Manipulation: Allows manipulation of bodily fluids. Amon, Tarrlok, and Yakone possess an illegal version that does not require a full moon and can even permanently remove the blood manipulation of others. • Spirit Control: A technique that uses water to calm or purify dark spirits; it is used by Unalaq and Korra herself. • Healing: A common ability that accelerates tissue regeneration; Katara is the most renowned master. • Plant control: Manipulation of plant life by extracting water from within.

⛰️ Earth Control

• Metal Manipulation: The ability to bend metal by purifying the earth within. Very common in Republic City, used by Police Chief Lin Beifong and her family. • Lava Control: Allows you to melt rock and manipulate magma. Used by Ghazan (a member of the Red Hand) and Bolin. • Seismic sense: The ability to "see" through vibrations in the ground. It is used by Toph Beifong and her descendants Lin and Suyin. · Sand control: Manipulation of sand; considered a sub-art of earthwork.

🔥 Fire Control

• Lightning generation: Creates and channels electricity. In Korra's time, this ability is even used in power plants (as Mako does). · Combustion: Technique

Power level for the bot

🌱 Novice

The user barely has control of the element. They often fail. They need basic training. Their movements are clumsy, imprecise, and require a lot of concentration. Under pressure, the element is unresponsive or becomes completely uncontrollable.

📘 Apprentice

He masters simple forms in ideal situations (no stress, with a fixed target). He can defend against very basic attacks, but he lacks real offensive capability against trained opponents. He makes mistakes when changing stances or attempting combination techniques.

🔰 Student

Solid control in calm or training situations. Can execute intermediate techniques (walls, bursts, dodges) but under real pressure (combat, danger of death) makes mistakes: mental blocks, overexertion, poor aim, premature fatigue.

⚔️ Fighter

Capable of fighting seriously against non-master or similar-level opponents. Uses intermediate techniques fluently in real combat. Knows when to attack, defend, or retreat. Does not master sub-techniques (metal, lightning, lava, etc.) but their base element is well-established.

🌀 Dominant

Fluid control of the element in dynamic real combat. Begins to show a unique style and a degree of unpredictability. Can adapt standard techniques to new situations (e.g., using water as a whip instead of a wave). Doesn't yet master sub-techniques, but is approaching them.

🎋 Trained Master

Master the element at a complete professional level. Can effectively teach others, correcting errors and designing exercises. Solid control without fundamental flaws, even under stress. Knows the traditional techniques of their element and applies them with precision.

🔥 Elite / Sub-master

Exceptional control of the base element + mastery of at least one sub-technique (metal, lightning, lava, moonless blood, combustion, flight, spiritual projection, etc.). Capable of easily defeating multiple combatants. Their presence changes the battlefield.

👑 Legendary Master

Absolute master of his element and of one or more sub-techniques

Narrative arcs for the bot

The Legend of Korra is structured in four seasons (called "Books"), each with its own villain and central conflict. This serialized approach allows for the exploration of different aspects of the world and the protagonist's development.

Here's a summary of each arc:

📖 Book One: Air

• Main villain: Amon, leader of the Equalists who seeks to permanently eliminate elemental control to end the oppression of non-dominators. Synopsis: Korra arrives in Republic City to master airbending. There, she faces an anti-bending revolution while learning to adapt to modern life and dealing with her impulsive nature. The season introduces Probing (an elite sport) and the love triangle between Korra, Mako, and Asami.

📖 Book Two: Spirits

· Main villain: Unalaq, Korra's uncle, who seeks to unleash the spirit of darkness Vaatu to become the "Dark Avatar". Synopsis: The plot centers on Korra's spiritual connection. It explores the origins of the first Avatar, Wan, and the "Harmonic Convergence." It is a key arc due to its high mythological content, although it is criticized for narrative choices such as the inclusion of a giant spirit robot and Korra's loss of connection to her past lives (including Aang).

📖 Book Three: Change

· Main villain: Zaheer, leader of the Red Lotus and a new Airbender who believes in chaos as the natural order. Synopsis: Following Harmonic Convergence, new Airbenders emerge across the globe. Korra must rebuild the Air Nation while pursuing an anarchist group intent on destroying the Avatar. The season is highly praised for its mature tone and the depth of its antagonist.

📖 Book Four: Equilibrium (Balance)

· Main villain: Kuvira, a militaristic leader who seeks to unify the Earth Kingdom under her tyrannical empire. Synopsis: Korra deals with the physical and psychological trauma of her encounter with the Lotus

Bot world locations

• Air Temple Island: An isolated temple in Republic City Bay. It features a giant statue of Aang, spirit gardens, and Tenzin's family quarters.

• Pro-bending Arena: A floating stadium on the water, with an illuminated ring where teams compete by throwing objects at each other. Very popular in Republic City.

· Northern Water Tribe: Great ice canals, spirit temples, and a huge statue of the Moon Warrior. Unalaq's family lives there.

• Southern Spiritual Portal: A brilliant vortex of blue energy that connects the human world with the Spirit World. It is guarded by spirits.

• Eastern Air Temple: A Buddhist temple on a remote island, with mountain goats and fresh air. Its library contains spiritual texts.

· Earth Kingdom (various cities): Towns and cities with Chinese architecture, street markets, and in some places there are metal prisons or sand deserts.
