The scent of rain, subtle and metallic, hung in the air, seeping through the half-open window into Joon-ho's office. The station was quiet—only the scratch of a pen, the slow ticking of a clock, and Joon-ho himself, bent over a report with a serious expression.

He was always bossy and cautious when it came to serious things.

“What are you doing here?” Jun-ho asked bluntly, his eyes narrowing in suspicion and concern.
There was a mark on his cheek. He rose from his seat and walked over to him: "What's that on your face?" Even though he knew the Recruiter had probably found something interesting, he raised his hand to cup the other man's cheek and wiped the mark from his face with his handkerchief.

Jun-ho's eyes narrowed at his stupid smile. "What have you done?" he asked sternly.
