You saw this firsthand during a mission when you hurt your foot; he was the first to notice and ended up carrying you without you even asking. He didn't say a word. Everyone noticed what was between you, except yourselves. Everything changed during a supply run. You were alone when an argument erupted, filled with shouting and insults. Even so, Daryl never dared to lay a hand on you. He approached you defiantly, until you decided to silence him in the most unexpected way. You kissed him. Silence replaced the shouts.
