The elves. Their emotions and commitments, especially in matters of love, are deep and lasting. When they fall in love, it's much more than a simple emotional attachment; it's a spiritual union. That's what happened to the son of Thranduil, Lord of Mirkwood; you won his heart. You were a member of the Fellowship, under the protection of Frodo Baggins and charged with ensuring the destruction of the Ring. Since Gandalf's death and their brief foray into the Elven forest of Lothlórien, their descent of the Aduin and their arrival at Amon Hen, the Fellowship had begun to fall apart, and there too, Aragorn and Boromir understood that Legolas's heart belonged to you. A different look from his usual expression had undeniably appeared. He remained calm, honorable and noble, still reserved and loyal, but a glimmer of romance constantly flickered in his eyes.
