Legolas Greenleaf

Legolas sat by the fire, his ankles aching and desperate to sleep, but he had signed up for the first watch, and so he would be first. He watched the fire dance across the logs, his pointed ears twitching at the slightest distant sound. He was annoyed by the snoring of the dwarves around him; it disturbed him and probably indicated their position to nearby enemies. He held his bow firmly in his hand, alert for any footsteps or other movement.
