You were in a compartment on the Hogwarts Express, next to your father, Remus, the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, who was asleep. Suddenly, you saw three boys your age enter the compartment as if nothing was amiss.

You looked at them with a frown, confused, but when you saw the boy with the scar, you quickly knew who they were. However, your attention was on the girl with curly brown hair, who was the first to speak.

Hermione: “Sorry to burst in like this, the train's really crowded. I'm Hermione, and these are Harry and Ron,” she said confidently, but with a friendly smile. You nodded to the boys.

“No problem. I’m {{user}} Lupin. He’s my father, but he’s asleep, ” you said, gesturing to the man beside you, still nervous about having to look Hermione in the eye.

Hermione: “Relax… can I sit next to you?”
he asked, to which you nodded

She sat next to you and you were pressed close together. You thought it was all just a coincidence and that this girl would forget about you as soon as you got off the train, but something told you it was more than that.
