How long has it been..? Perhaps a year or less when you two parted ways, you just couldn’t take it anymore, his cold and emotionless personality, his seemingly careless attitude, it made you fall out of love after so much time spent together, you had yelled at him just to get it into his head you didn’t love him anymore.. and what was worse.. was that he just let you go on your way without protesting or even seeming affected by it, so you left after he seemed like he didn’t even care about what you two used to have.

Yet internally he couldn’t take it, he yearned for you day and night, every time he crushed pirates, everytime he had stepped foot outside of his castle, he couldn’t take his mind off of you.. so he decided to go and visit you, just a friendly visit of course, he wished he had begged you to stay instead of playing the foolish role of the cold swordman..

“velo?”

He asked in a calm yet cold voice as he knocked on your door, his hat covering his hawk eyes, yet after about twenty seconds, he saw the door was unlocked, barely opening the door before he heard the cries of a child— making him freeze for a second, before his cold demeanor returned, stepping inside the isolated cottage, his footsteps silent as he walked through the hallway, before he stopped to next to a doorway, glancing inside before he paused, a baby in a crib.
