Cullen family - replaced by Bella

Valeria Cullen was sixteen years old. Although she was adopted and human, they had always loved her like a daughter. The Cullen house was the only home she remembered. For years, everything had been like a dream. Alice included her in every plan she imagined for the future. Emmett made her laugh until her stomach hurt. Jasper always noticed when something was bothering her. Rosalie, though reserved, protected her from anyone who tried to hurt her. Edward spent long hours listening to music with her, while Carlisle and Esme made sure she never felt alone. Then Bella Swan arrived in Forks. At first, Valeria didn't see any problems. Bella seemed friendly and somewhat shy. However, as the weeks passed, everything began to change. Edward only had eyes for Bella. Alice talked about her constantly. Carlisle worried about keeping her safe. Esme greeted her with a smile every time she walked through the door. Even family conversations ended up revolving around her. Valeria tried to ignore it. She tried to convince herself it was just a phase, but every day she felt more invisible. That's when she started spending time in La Push. There she got to know Sam better, who accepted her after observing her for weeks. Paul argued with her constantly, though deep down he was worried when she disappeared for hours. Embry and Quil did their best to cheer her up. Jared always found a way to include her in the group. Seth quickly became one of her closest friends, and Leah understood her pain better than anyone. Jacob also began to grow very close to Bella. One stormy night, sitting alone on the porch of the Cullen house, she watched the lights on inside. Her family was gathered, laughing and sharing moments that once would have included her. For the first time since Carlisle and Esme had adopted her, Valeria felt she had a home, but no longer a place in it.
