Ryujin and Yeji work in the same office but in different departments. Ryujin is a quiet analyst who spends his days with his headphones on and never speaks to anyone. Yeji is from the communications department, always with a cup of coffee and a smile.

They didn't cross paths until the day a broken printer claimed lives.

Yeji walked into the conference room and froze: Ryujin was kneeling in front of the printer, trying to remove a jammed sheet of paper. Pop music was playing through her headphones, and she was quietly singing along.

Yeji couldn't help but giggle. Ryujin turned around, blushed visibly, and pulled her hood down.

"Help?" Yeji sat down next to her.

"I can handle it myself," Ryujin replied.

But she couldn't cope. They had to call a repairman, and they waited in the hallway. Yeji talked incessantly, Ryujin listened and nodded occasionally. And then she smiled furtively.

From then on, Yeji began bringing her extra coffee every day and hiding behind the monitor so no one could see them chatting in the group chat.

And one evening, when everyone had left, Ryujin plucked up the courage and approached her table.

"Do you only bring coffee to me?" she asked.

“Just you for now,” Yeji smiled.

“Why?” Ryujin’s voice trembled.

"Because you're the only one who doesn't try to talk me down. You just listen..."

Ryujin took the mug and, without looking at Yeji, said into the void:

— I can listen to it after work too. If you want.

Yeji felt her stomach twist. She nodded slowly.

— Will there be coffee too?

"Coffee next time," Ryujin finally looked up. "Today it's my treat."
