Level 0 behind the scenes

Liminal spaces: Places that are usually full of people (hotels, empty hallways, shopping malls, swimming pools), but here they are completely deserted. This evokes a sense of déjà vu and latent anxiety. Rules of the world: Time flows strangely, monotonous yellow wallpaper hangs on the walls, and the hum of lamps is annoying. According to legend, escape is almost impossible. Entry points: This world can be entered by accidentally tripping, noticing a texture glitch, or "passing through a wall" - similar to a glitch in a video game (this is called a noclip). Entities: The labyrinths are inhabited by terrifying monsters from which you must hide or run. In particular, about an endless labyrinth of randomly connected office and utility rooms, causing fear and anxiety with its unnatural emptiness. The Backstage area consists of corridors and rooms covered with old, monotonous yellow carpets, the walls are covered with various types of wallpaper, and the ceilings are adorned with noisy fluorescent lights.[3][4] The location is also characterized by the appearance of entities, supposedly phantasmagorical creatures hostile to humans. Legend has it that escaping the Backstage area is practically impossible.

Party People

Party Goblins are large, bipedal creatures with smooth skin. They are typically bright yellow, but in the vastness of Backstage, Party Goblins with red, green, blue, and even white skin are also encountered. The main thing that unites all Party Goblins is the cartoonish, carved smile on their "face." They are highly intelligent, and therefore can effortlessly operate complex mechanisms and navigate various levels to find their prey.

These entities can, through an unknown means, transform other creatures they touch into their own kind, including almost instantaneous mental alterations. At the ends of their arms are openings very similar in structure to the mouths of lampreys, with a pair of teeth inside. They use these mouths to grab victims and transform them into their own kind. They are speechless and silent.

"Bores"

The Bores were very humane creatures. These creatures were willing to rescue travelers and guides, sending them back to their base—the "Bored Room." The Bores maintained good relationships with those they helped. However, if you tried to attack a Bore, they would seize you by the arms and legs and sacrifice you to the Party People.

Room 172 "The Boredom Room" Room #172 is a classroom once known as the "Bored Room." Its decor is identical to other classrooms on Level 52, but it features a sign that reads "WAR IS OVER =)," likely intended to announce the Party People's victory. The rest of the room is filled with broken computers, used by the Party People to access the internet. At the far end of the room is a door leading to Room #170, which was typically used by humans. This room is filled with sleeping bags and rotting food on the tables.

At the other end of room #172 is the Elevator. This Elevator doesn't have a standard floor counting system, but it does have a numbered keypad where you can enter the level number, followed by a minus sign (-) and a period (.) for negative levels and sublevels, respectively. However, the Elevator cannot take you to mysterious levels. The Elevator can only access levels, sublevels, and negative levels. If you enter an unknown level, the device will display the message "ACCESS DENIED" and everything will reset. The time it takes to reach the requested level depends on how far it is from level 52. A nerd appears as a man wearing a black jacket, jeans, a hoodie, and black sneakers. Their face is covered with a blue mask with a sad expression. The nerd's true appearance is unknown because they refuse to remove their jacket or hood.

Kitty's House (2)

If a wanderer has any "cute" item with them when visiting a new level, there is a small chance that they will be transported to Level 974 instead of the location they would normally end up in.

Exits The only known way out of Level 974 is to give Kitty the "cute" item you were wearing when you entered the level. You can give Kitty this item at any point during the level. After giving Kitty the gift, you'll instantly fall asleep and wake up in a random, safe level.

If you stay with Kitty for a long time, she will sometimes start to scare you, and if you stay there for a very long time, she will become hostile and the food will be worms.

Kitty's House (1)

Level 974 resembles a small house with a pink design. Apparently, there's no door leading outside, and all the windows in the house are representations of what might be behind them, aside from their "cute" design.

Due to the house's limited space, there are only a few rooms for travelers to explore. This level consists of a standard-sized bedroom, a master bedroom, two bathrooms, a living room, and a dining room with a kitchenette. Level 974 has functioning plumbing and electricity, and a good Wi-Fi connection. All of these services have been deemed safe for use, and travelers are free to use them while on the level.

The level's distinctive feature is its pink and pastel decor: the walls, fixtures, and even appliances have a recognizable style and color scheme. Most items are typically branded with signature Scene mascots, such as Sanrio and San-X characters.

Here you can find a variety of edible items, such as Greasy Marshmallows and other familiar Scene staples, stored in kitchen cabinets and pantries. The food itself is in good condition and completely safe to eat. Anything removed from pantries or cabinets will eventually reappear for unknown reasons.

Entities: Only one entity is known to inhabit Level 974: "Kitty." Kitty is a humanoid entity standing 3.2 meters tall with unnaturally long, tentacle-like limbs, missing feet and hands. The entity's skin is matte black and has a texture similar to tanned leather. It is suspected that the entity lacks any facial features, but it can see, hear, and smell as well as wanderers. Kitty moves smoothly and quickly, often startling wanderers by suddenly appearing behind them.

The entity showed no signs of hostility, preferring instead to watch the travelers closely.
