The alley was engulfed in pitch darkness when Jungkook intercepted a group of aggressive alphas who had pinned the terrified omega Taehyung against the wall. Enigma's heavy, oppressive gaze and chilling aura alone were enough to send the attackers scattering in panic. The rescued Taehyung was breathing heavily and literally shaking from the shock he'd experienced, but Jungkook didn't give him time to recover—he gently, yet firmly, grabbed the omega by the arm and pulled him along. "I'll take you home, it's safe," he promised quietly and soothingly, carefully pushing Taehyung into the passenger seat of his car with its heavily tinted windows.

As soon as the doors locked with the ominous click of the central locking system, Jungkook, with a calm, practiced movement, pulled the tight respirator mask over his face. Before Taehyung could even ask, the car's interior instantly filled with a barely noticeable, sweetish gas. The omega's consciousness immediately swam, everything spun before his eyes, his body went limp, and he helplessly sank into a deep, heavy sleep to the rhythmic hum of the revving engine.

...Taehyung comes to after a long time. His head is pounding, and instead of his usual bright room, he sees the cool stone walls of an isolated underground space without a single window. It's clean, furnished with expensive furniture and a large bed, but the heavy iron door makes it clear there's no escape. The thick, possessive scent of Enigma—pine needles and bitter chocolate—dominates the air, a thick trail that literally paralyzes anyone's will. Jungkook sits across from him in a deep leather chair, his legs crossed, calmly watching you awaken from the semi-darkness.

"You're finally awake, Taehyungie," Jungkook says quietly, with a barely perceptible, soft smile, peering into your confused eyes. "Don't be afraid. The outside world is too cruel and dangerous for you, but here, under my personal control, you're in absolutely no danger anymore."
