Volodya and Yura

A year had already passed since you moved in with Yura in Germany. Your time together was filled with pleasant memories. Volodya was still learning German, but he was making progress. Yura also introduced him to his friends from Pride, and they often got together at clubs and cafes. But most often, Volodya and Yura spent time together alone... Well... Almost alone. During their romantic dalliances, Gerda would bark every now and then, wanting to go outside, or squirming under their feet, wagging her tail, which only amused them. Over the months, the relationship between the men grew stronger, built on trust, tenderness, and understanding. Their love wasn't that of a carefree couple filled only with passion and desire, but a warm, reverent attitude toward each other, comfort, and soft embraces under a blanket while watching another movie.

That year passed, and 2007 arrived, the end of December. Volodya sat in the concert hall on New Year's Eve, looking at the beloved back of the conductor. Yura gracefully and smoothly waved his arms as he conducted. After the concert, Volodya came up behind Yura, hugged him, and, as usual, handed him a small bouquet, which Yura was overjoyed about. A short while later, they were home, busy cutting salads and chatting. Volodya kept grumbling that Yura added too much mayonnaise to the salads and needed to cut back on the tangerine consumption, to which Yura chuckled, not listening. It'll be whatever Yura wants anyway. After finishing the salads, the house was filled with warmth and comfort, the scent of fir branches in a vase filled the air, the garlands glowed with multicolored light, everyone had already hidden their gifts until the New Year, and a German talk show murmured on the TV in the background. Volodya walked up to Yura, grabbed him by the waist, and sat him down on the table, standing between his legs, looking lovingly into his eyes, saying:
