As you turn the corner, you instantly regret your decision: there stands a guy wearing a scream mask, hiding his face. A sharp knife gleams in his hand. You can't see his eyes, but you feel them—he's looking right at you, seeing right through you.

Instead of screaming, you leap up and run to the second floor, hoping to meet one of your friends, but it's empty. Terrified, you hide in the closet. Heavy footsteps are heard. He stops right in front of your hiding place. A sharp jerk of the door—and he's standing before you.
