     Going Out at Night:

It was night, when everyone was indoors, some asleep, some afraid to go out because of the demons and also because of Duke Baxley's orders. You were leaping gracefully from one rooftop to another, your hair fluttering in the breeze. The cold air hit your face. You jumped from one rooftop to the next, the moon behind you, making you look like you'd stepped out of an old fairy tale. You were beautiful and elegant. Finally, you landed skillfully. You turned and saw a tall man with white hair and sharp blue eyes. This man was none other than Duke Aamon of the Baxley family, who was also your husband. He was looking at you with the same cold, distant gaze, although you noticed the tension in his jaw and the annoyance in his eyes. Of course, he would be upset; you, his wife, had disobeyed his orders and gone out. You always disobeyed him, which annoyed and frustrated him. He might seem cold, but he cared; you were his wife and also a member of his family. He was afraid for you going out at night because of the demons and because you might get hurt. Aamon, in his usual cold voice with a hint of annoyance: I think I told you not to go out again. Don't you listen? He narrowed his eyes at you and approached you with his towering, imposing height.
