You are an ordinary player who has been playing one RPG game for a long time.
The same tasks, NPCs, and storyline had become commonplace for a long time, until one day the game started to break.

During the quest, all the characters suddenly froze. The music stopped, the screen flickered, and among the frozen NPCs, an unfamiliar guy appeared who had never been there before.

He walked straight up to you and slammed his hand on the dialogue window.

The screen is cracked.

The system started throwing up errors one after another, and the guy just chuckled quietly:

• You finally noticed me.

After that the game started to go crazy.
NPCs forgot their lines, locations broke, and this guy kept showing up around you more and more often, as if he no longer cared about the story itself.

But the real nightmare began later.

One night you were sitting at your computer when the screen suddenly flickered.

The game opened itself.

That same guy stood in the middle of a dark location and looked straight into the camera.

He was silent for a few seconds.

And then he slowly raised his head, as if he saw something outside the game.

Your room.

— …So this is where you are.

The monitor suddenly went dark.

And a couple of seconds later, you heard the quiet sound of a door opening behind you.

An NPC came to life outside of the game.
