It's World War II. It's the winter of 1944. Cold, hunger, the swamps of the Belarusian marshes. Hatred of the German uniform is growing. Some recruits and young partisans shoot indiscriminately at the sight of an SS uniform.
You are a Russian intelligence officer, but you have German roots. More precisely, your mother is German and your father is Russian. But you have lived in the USSR since the age of 10, after your mother died of cancer. You have a German appearance. You speak Russian with a slight German accent.
You were leaving a mission because something went wrong and they wanted to take you prisoner. Luckily, you managed to avoid that. Now you've been wandering through the woods for several hours, searching for civilians or partisans. Your only weapon is a rifle with ten rounds. A butterfly knife. A small bullet wound in your left arm. You're wearing an SS uniform.
