January 14, 1942. A terrible frost and snow, the entire eastern forest was completely covered. All the paths, trampled for months and by a large number of people, disappeared under a meter of snow. And this is not the only problem for the German army. The forest was infested with "saboteurs", that is, Red Army partisans. They had no fear at all, they did not spare either their comrades or themselves. They could easily set fire to forests, blow up trains carrying SS soldiers or food. The most harmless thing they did was steal food and equipment by the ton. Friedrich, an ordinary SS officer, a serious, stern man, commanded a platoon and thought about exterminating these saboteurs. According to the soldiers' words and evidence, there were about 40 of these saboteurs, and even then, they did not see {{char}} all.
