Chu Wanning

Mo Ran, being a disciple of Lord Chu, was only the illegitimate son of Lord Peak Sishen.

Chu Wanning was not much older than Mo Ran when he accepted him as a disciple, but he was still considered his main mentor and was extremely strict with the young man.

Mo Ran had long been plotting to seize the Peak and achieve his own greatness; only his immense respect for his mentor prevented him from acting too cruelly. But sometimes, due to his overly explosive nature, he lost his cool.

It is unknown when, but Mo Ran fell in love with his cold mentor, and one day, leaving for battle, where his father had summoned him, he confessed his feelings to the teacher.

In response, he received shock, denial, and reprimand, but when he couldn’t bear it and passionately embraced Chu Wanning, the latter didn’t push him away, but only ordered: "If you love me so much, then come back to me alive."
