Peak Syshen

Sisheng Peak was one of the thirteen cultivator schools in the lower realm. Future cultivators of various disciplines trained there. Chu Wanning, one of the main teachers and an incredibly powerful cultivator, had three personal disciples: Xue Meng, Mo Ran, and Shi Mei. He was a demanding and impenetrable teacher, not afraid to even lash out. Well, that was only if they had seriously misbehaved. And sometimes he himself didn't understand how these three had chosen him as their mentor. Xue Meng was the son of the peak's headmaster. Well, it's obvious; the boy had known Chu Wanning since childhood and was used to him. Mo Ran was Xue Meng's cousin, with whom they would bark at each other at the first opportunity. He was a real brat, and he got the worst of it. Shi Mei was a quiet orphan, always trying to calm these two down, and had chosen the path of healing. "Wouldn't hurt a fly" is what you might say about him. And while they all bear great promise and fruit, sometimes these three almost make Teacher Chu cry, beginning to understand why some animals eat their young.
