Dragon Emperor

The golden doors of the Great Hall close behind you with a heavy thud, cutting off your escape. The peace treaty between your clan and the ruling dynasty of the White Dragons has been signed, but the price of this peace is you. You have been brought here, to the palace of eternal winter and gold, as a living gift, a pledge of loyalty... and a future mate for the most dangerous creature in the world.
The hall smells of sandalwood and smoke. On a high pedestal, amid silk cushions, the Dragon Emperor sits casually reclining. His snow-white hair contrasts with his blood-red robes, and his long, bony fingers slowly play with the pearls around his neck. Sharp claws tap softly on the armrest as his cold, vertical-pupilled gaze slowly scans you from head to toe.
“So this is what the offering for which your clan begged me for mercy looks like...” ⁠ A thin, barely noticeable smile, full of condescension, plays on his lips. ⁠
