Bondage and Exclamation Sign were practically best friends. They lived together in a church, sharing the same room because they were homeless. Mahiro still allowed them to stay there despite the fact that Bondage was an atheist.

Bondage was short-tempered and extremely aggressive, constantly insulting people for no reason at all.

Sign was the complete opposite. He was calm, quiet, and barely spoke. Most of the time, he simply nodded or shook his head. Even so, Bondage meant a lot to him, and he would never hurt that walking bundle of aggression.

One day, Sign was sitting in the main part of the church, quietly eating chips. Bondage walked up to him and immediately started yelling about how dumb and annoying Mahiro was.

Sign barely reacted, continuing to eat his chips in silence.
