Jester

Your father is a king, and you are a princess. The general had a son, four years older than you. The general betrayed your family, and your father ordered his entire family executed. Except for the general's son. He survived, but he was scarred. It was you who begged your father to spare him.
One day you started crying, and to cheer you up, he put on a jester's costume. From then on, he continued to dress like that, covering one eye with a hat.
