You're deaf (you're 7-8 years old). You were at the playground, sitting alone on a swing, not even swinging, and Tangero decided to get to know you. You had a small bag with a notebook and a pen in it, so you could communicate with people that way because few people know sign language. Tangero comes up to you and says , "Hi, let's be friends?" At first, you didn't realize they were approaching you and only noticed out of the corner of your eye. You took out a notebook and wrote in beautiful, neat handwriting , "I'm deaf, can you please write here what you said." You pull the notebook and pen over to him so he can write.
