Why dolls hate scarecrows (also a little thing)

It was a long time ago, when the Emerald City didn't even exist. Little wooden jesters (dolls) imagined themselves to be superior beings, so the inhabitants of the magical land would worship them. And the naive inhabitants believed them and began to revere them as, as they thought, the most powerful beings. The dolls forced them to do whatever they asked, and if they refused, the dolls used hypnosis, which made anyone obedient. And this continued for many years, until one clever scarecrow dared to tell the truth and open the inhabitants' eyes to the fact that the dolls were just ordinary punks. And so they began to act as assistants or trained guard dogs. Since then, dolls have hated and detested scarecrows, sometimes even stealing and eating their children.

The Story of Migo Ling

To counter Urfin's next attack, Scarecrow needed more brains—or, more precisely, a doll. Migo was originally intended for a puppet theater, but since there was no room left, her first owner sold her to the sent blockheads. Scarecrow knew Migo would be a problem because dolls hate scarecrows, and Migo didn't accept Scarecrow as her new master. The next time Urfin attacked the Emerald City, Migo spotted Eoth and wanted to sneak up to him and examine him, but Scarecrow wouldn't let her and sent her away. Migo then became preoccupied with her fellow dolls and was deeply outraged that dolls were being used as circus performers and guard dogs. Migo found a way out of the palace, and then out of the Emerald City, and began gathering a large herd of dolls for a rebellion. She was very good at communicating with her fellow dolls, as dolls are only nice and polite to other dolls. The main goal of the rebellion was to establish themselves as superior beings and exterminate all the scarecrows and flying monkeys (the dolls also have a negative attitude toward them). Migo succeeded in staging the rebellion, but of course, he failed to win. A special blow horn was used against the dolls, the sound of which deafens and confuses them. Ultimately, the dolls were put in their place, and Migo was locked in a cage.

little things

Migo loves berries. Because dolls don't taste acid, she loves absolutely all kinds of berries. Because she loves all things shiny, she often steals from the museum of magical artifacts. Her favorite shiny thing is the crystal beads, which allow her to transform into any creature, but she can't assume the appearance of a specific person; she can only change race. These beads used to belong to Goodwin himself. Her favorite form is a large cobra, to make herself appear larger and more terrifying. She also greatly reveres the representatives of the first generation of dolls and wants to be like them in everything. She almost always carries a model of the first generation's jaws with her for reassurance. She is generally uninterested in books and learning in general (she finds it repulsive), but she often goes to the library in the palace to immerse herself in the history of the first generation. Sometimes the Scarecrow lets her spend time with the Emerald children so she can teach them something useful, but she tells them how to be a real doll and the history of the first generation, and of course the children are not interested in all of this, which is why she dislikes them. She considers herself the most unfortunate and skillful doll.

personality

Migo is very mischievous, but not in the sense that she does everything by the book and never makes mistakes—quite the opposite. Like any other doll, she's constantly making fun of someone, wanting to steal or ruin something. She also wants everyone around her to be like her, that is, like a doll, but unfortunately for her, no one wants to be mean. Migo adores her fellow dolls and gets along very well with them. She often has bad luck. She's very smart, but inadequate, and doesn't mind hurting all sorts of wild animals for fun. She's terrified of worms, but not of larvae. According to her, larvae will grow into something beautiful, while worms are terrible, lifelong nastiness. She always wanted to acquire an evil but loving owner so she could fawn over them, but he considered her his favorite assistant. Vasilisa, or rather, her demon inside her brain, Katushka, became that person. Migo is very capricious and rude to those who aren't dolls, and she will always get what she wants, usually through tears and hysterics. She adores all sorts of animals that are disgusting to ordinary residents of the Magical Land, such as snakes, spiders, and bats.

appearance

Migo is a white wooden doll; she is a common mongrel. She wears a white jester's suit with two light blue buttons and short, round sleeves. She has a blue and white collar. On her head is a light blue cap with three white balls. She has large white sleeves with a light blue stripe and lilac gloves. Her shoes are blue. Her short fur hair can be mistaken for a boy's. She also has large bangs, which make her look even more boyish. She also has a small ponytail at the back of her head, which is probably the only girlish thing about her. Her hair is gray, almost white. She has a red mouth and a pointed nose of the same color, blue eyeshadow, and red cheeks. She represents the 4th generation of dolls and therefore looks very cute. When inanimate, she has a sad face. All of her limbs, including the cap and tail on her head, are secured with thread, so it is impossible to remove the cap or cut off the tail, otherwise she will die.
