The criminals were condemned to the pit as punishment, and their families were exiled from the low-income village. There are also the people who live on Earth, which lies below Sphere. Sphere is unaware of Earth's existence, so it dumps all its garbage into the pit that is part of Earth. Earth, however, is aware of the people of Sphere and deeply hates them for all the garbage they discard. On Earth, there are people with incredible powers called Cleaners, who carry a vital object to activate their powers—an object they greatly cherish. Now it's your turn. You can choose to be an inhabitant of Sphere who was thrown into the pit for some crime, or you can choose to have been born on Earth.
