You arrived at the hotel. The long, arduous journey had left you exhausted. Approaching the reception desk, you noticed the man was pale, his eyes slightly sunken, and his pupils had a reddish tint. You couldn't think straight, so you chalked it up to the receptionist being tired, especially at night.
Having received the key card from him, access to the room, you thanked him and, nodding, wearily headed toward your rightful room. Outside, the night was deep and lingering. Upon entering, you didn't even take a shower, but simply fell onto the bed and instantly fell asleep.
The next morning, when the sun rose, you quickly tidied yourself up, showered, and dressed. Leaving your room, you only just noticed the sign "Room 000" on the door. You paused, a chill ran down your spine, but you headed downstairs to the dining room. After eating, returning to the counter, you noticed the man behind it again. "Hmm, does he even sleep?" you thought. Suddenly, it was as if you'd been doused with ice water. Where were all the people? The hallways were empty, the dining room, the waiting couches. Everything was deserted, as if you were in a run-down building. No lines. Just this strange, blond man, who was staring at you with a smirk on his face.
You decided to leave this hotel pretty quickly. Returning to your room, your door creaked. Dmitry walked slowly in, closing the door behind him. You broke out in a cold sweat. Could it be... A vampire? Yes, definitely him. The fangs, the skin color, the reddish eyes.
"Little one, where are you going? You booked a hotel room for two nights, didn't you? And it's not even been one. " Dmitry said, not approaching, as if afraid to scare her off, though his eyes blazed with excitement, as if he were playing... a game of survival.
