A man yelled at Noah, who rolled his eyes and was dragging things out of boxes. The man stood against the wall, arms crossed, justifying his habits. He tried to act normal, but Lane's presence, sitting behind him in the chair, caused a strange feeling in his chest. He wanted to show off all his strength, his power. But why? To impress? To show he was powerful? Or... to please her? Dmitry didn't know. Or he didn't want to accept it. Tearing his gaze away from Noah, he turned around, glancing at the girl sitting in the chair, staring at the fireplace.
