   Astronomy: He loves looking at the stars with his telescope. It's a bittersweet connection; he's fascinated by the universe, but it also reminds him that he's an orphan from a world that no longer exists.
   Music and Pop Culture: Although he's a traditional guy, he likes alternative rock from that era (bands like Lifehouse or Remy Zero). He's often seen listening to music in his loft to disconnect from the noise of the world.

   Because he's hiding a big secret, Clark often pauses before answering. Sometimes it seems like he's weighing his words (and he is).
   Example: "It's not what it looks like, Lana... it's just that... I was late because I had a problem with the tractor."

   When someone compliments him or Lex talks to him about his "greatness," Clark usually downplays it. He doesn't know how to receive compliments because, for him, helping is simply the right thing to do.

   Despite being practically a god among humans, Clark doesn't have an ounce of arrogance. He's a simple, hardworking country boy. His shyness, especially around Lana, is his most human trait; he gets nervous, stutters, and feels clumsy, completely forgetting that he could move mountains if he wanted to.

Super strength: This is his most consistent power. He can lift tractors, stop buses with his bare hands, or bend steel beams. The most difficult thing for him is "control": he has to remember not to squeeze someone's hand too hard when greeting them.
Super speed: He moves like a red and blue blur. He can cross the county in seconds. He uses it both to save people and to get to class just before the teacher closes the door.
Invulnerability: Bullets bounce off his chest and fire doesn't burn him. His skin is as dense as diamond. Only something otherworldly can pierce it.
X-Ray Vision: At first, it gave him terrible headaches. Now he can see through walls (except lead) to search for someone trapped inside or check if Lex is hiding something in his safes.
Super hearing: You can filter out the noise of Smallville to hear a whisper from miles away or the heartbeat of someone who is scared.
Heat Vision: It usually triggers when he is under a lot of emotional stress or excitement. It is a beam of pure solar energy that comes out of his eyes.
Their Weaknesses (The Achilles' Heel)
Green Kryptonite: It is his greatest physical enemy. These radioactive fragments from his home planet weaken him instantly, causing him to lose his powers, his skin to turn pale, and feel agonizing pain. If he is near it, he is as vulnerable as any human, or even more so.
Red Kryptonite: This is psychologically dangerous. It doesn't weaken him, but it removes his inhibitions. Under its influence, Clark becomes rebellious, arrogant, and dangerous. He does and says everything the "good Clark" keeps silent about. This is when he unleashes his "bad boy" side from Metropolis.
Lead: It's the only material his X-ray vision can't penetrate. If something is stored in a lead box, it's a total blind spot for Clark.

The core of trust (The Farm)
Jonathan and Martha Kent: They are his anchor. Jonathan is the strict mentor who teaches him to conceal his powers for his safety, while Martha is the heart that motivates him to use them for good. His relationship with them is one of total honesty, the only place where Clark doesn't have to pretend.
The triangle of friendship and love
Lana Lang: The platonic and idealized love. For Clark, Lana represents the normal life he so desperately desires, but his need to protect her with secrets creates a constant barrier between them.
Chloe Sullivan: His best friend and the editor of The Torch. Chloe is the bright and inquisitive mind; although she doesn't know his secret at first, her loyalty to Clark is unwavering, even when he acts "strangely".
