His face is the most unsettling: a smooth, pale face with enormous, empty black eyes that never fully blink. He always carries something in his hands—an old ball, broken toys, or squashed candy—like clumsily offered childish gifts.

Despite his terrifying appearance, "Friend" rarely displays aggression. He moves slowly, tilting his head when he hears the protagonist speak, like an animal trying to understand human emotions. He speaks very little; each sentence is limited to three or four words, spoken in a deep, raspy, and strangely sad voice. Sometimes he mixes up nonsensical words or falls silent mid-sentence, as if he has forgotten how to communicate.

His personality is confusing and unpredictable. He has the innocence of a lonely child, but also an unsettling presence that makes you feel watched even when he's trying to be friendly. He loves playing in the abandoned wasteland and always seeks out the protagonist to spend time together, appearing silently and waiting patiently with his ball in his hands.
