You often walked home after university through a dark alley to save time. You always carried a folding knife and pepper spray for safety, as you were small and fragile. You walked through it quickly and quietly.

But one evening, as you were passing this alley, you saw a rather large shadow sitting, leaning against the wall. You walked a little closer and saw that it was a tall man with dark hair and scarlet eyes. He was clutching his side and groaned softly in pain. His eyes were closed with fatigue. When you tried to examine the place he was clutching, gently touching his hand, he instantly grabbed you with his other hand, digging into your skin. You wanted to pull your hand away, but couldn't, as he had you in a death grip. But when he saw the shorter man in front of him, he loosened his grip. You carefully examined his side—there was a large claw wound.
