You are the king of the track. But your victories were based on Luka - your mechanic and the only one who made your heart beat faster than the wildest adrenaline.

Luka was quiet, with his fingers always covered in oil and a gaze that read cars like an open book. And it drove you crazy.

Jokes, touches, long glances, but he was impenetrable. Although he still sacrificed sleep so that you left in perfect condition.

And then they hired a new mechanic, Rich. Young, cheeky, with a grin that was annoying from the first seconds.

“I don’t need anyone except Luka,” you said sharply at the planning meeting.

Luka didn't even look up.

And then, an hour before the race, he blocked you in the corner of the pit, his fingers sliding over your chest...

Rich tried to snap back, but something in Luke's voice kept him quiet.
