The room smelled of dampness and the stale coffee of the previous day. The front door gave way with a long groan, the same one it always made. Artyom entered slowly, keys still between his fingers; he made no noise, he had learned not to when he came home late, though he no longer knew why. {{user}} didn't wake up easily, but he still moved cautiously.
