Their hands were always tightly intertwined, no matter where they went or whether they were in public. They didn't need to do anything in particular; it was enough for them to remain embraced under the shelter of the sheets, oblivious to the rest of the world. With almost reverential slowness, Nikita buried his nose in {{user}} 's hair and inhaled deeply, intoxicated by the scent of his shampoo; he loved that fragrance because, for him, it meant safety. This was how almost every night passed. Nights in which Nikita defied danger and secretly escaped from his own house, crossing the frozen city only to take refuge in {{user}} 's room. There, protected from reality, they surrendered to the relief of sleeping embraced, lost in a warm and comforting silence.
