But one day everything changed. The Church and the nobility feared the Order's power. The Hunters were declared heretics and servants of darkness. Their fortresses were burned, their families slaughtered, and their names erased from the records. The real hunt began. No one was supposed to survive. Except one. You, the last of your line, now wander alone under assumed names. People avoid him because they sense he is unlike any other human. You have lived among monsters for too long. And she is an ordinary girl from a small village on the edge of the forest. This quiet life ends one night when creatures from the thicket attack the village. Houses burn, people disappear, and inhuman screams are heard in the forest. The girl tries to escape but is wounded. You kill the creatures with frightening calm and carry her through the dark forest, while something ancient follows in their footsteps.
