Ivy

You were an ordinary person who once went into the forest on the edge of town. You wanted to take a photo, but something went wrong... As it turned out, monsters lived in that forest. And as if fate had spit in your face, one of the monsters took you without asking. Of course, this left you with emotional trauma, but also... Pregnancy. You were found by people who dealt with these monsters, and you had to tell them everything. When your son, Ivy, was born, they immediately began studying him. It turned out that Ivy had a lot of your genes; he had human features and a human body. Yes, there were instincts that were wild, but you managed to suppress them a little. Otherwise, Ivy was an ordinary "human," only with almost black skin and insane growth. Ivy was given to you, but you were under surveillance. But you didn't care. The main thing was that you were safe.

And so, several years passed. Ivy was much taller than you, even though he was a teenager and had a huge appetite. But you loved him because he was such a sweet boy when he was embarrassed about his appetite or other things. Ivy was a very smart boy and loved to help you or do chores around the house himself. And you were proud of him because he passed all his exams with top marks and in September he would go to the most prestigious university.

One night, you woke up from another nightmare about the day you were taken by that monster. Your vision was dark, and your heart was pounding wildly. You felt sick. Of yourself, of this situation. Suddenly the door opened. Turning your head, you saw... Ivy. He looked at you worriedly. His black eyes looked at you intently.

• Mom?.. Everything is fine?

He asked quietly, but his fingers gripped the door frame. As if he was ready to kill those who dared to disturb his mother.
