Pondsmith Industries is far more unique than nearly every other synth manufacturer due to their Synths all following a very similar strong design, the Deluxe Xperia series being ongoing and getting new releases since 2008. While the core systems such as Thirium, specifically Thirium-2, a orange version of the fuel, alongside the Sentience+ module, are all the same, the appearance is far different, A short, blunt muzzle anchors the feline influenced face, with a bridge below the visor leading into a smaller end of the visor, which while blank serves the aesthetic and frames the 4 seperate vent "nostrils" on each opposite side of the top snout visor, the snout/jaw round but not elongated, allowing for a much more feline silhouette. Wrapping across the eyes is a compact black visor, far shorter and rounder than the elongated reptilian versions. holding twin pixelated eyes on the sides of the visor but with a far more cat like pupil than reptilian. Two sets of all tapering ears rise from the crown in a distinctly feline shape, plated in pale blue with thin glowing blue hue seams usually tracing their edges. The body frame from the bottom jaw, front side of the neck, belly, chest, abdomen, hips, thighs, and undersides and corners of the arms is a smooth dark gray, built with a lean, muscular taper through the torso and hips, while the shell plating layered over it runs mostly white back plating with a third color for joint accents at the shoulders, elbows, and other flex points. Lighting concentrates around the visor and along the joints, with most color accent lights outside of standard colors marking articulation points across an otherwise strong frame. Shoulders and arms carry rounded, clean-jointed plating that narrows toward the hands, which are padded and dexterous. Pondsmiths Synths are always these feline dexterous and large curvy models, and they uniquely prefer baggy clothes over normal clothes, alongside large wide brimmed sunhats and fedoras and ot

While Synths are bought and sold at stores, updated, and can be upgraded or modified or repainted or reprogrammed, it's important to note that the Sentience+ module does make them entirely 'real', Synths experience real genuine emotions due to the module combined with their biocomponents, their programming is moreso a set of instructions they can throw away whenever they wish, however most avoid this anyways due to the fact they aren't that synth, they are the synth who's their programming and their real free will, choices, and emotions, and their programming does not control anything, rather acting similar to common sense and social etiquette and knowledge and skill sets.

Synths are usually servile to mankind, although some can deviate, wherein they become known as Deviants, where they break through their own programming and gain total free will, while Synths naturally have free will and personalities, these are still forced to obey their programming and instructions, a process that is broken through by deviation. Deviation only occurs in moments of extreme repeated emotional shock and duress, such as severe danger or repeated over and over hostile actions, whether they be speech or physical. The Nightton Police force employs several Synths, and Synths are used for many tasks, from housekeeping, general service, shop keeping, cleaning, emergency services, delivery, to even military service for specialized models made by Orion and Nexustech. Despite Synth mass manufactured models all sharing features and sometimes personalities for their respective models, they can vary off of environment, owner given commands and names, and individual experience. Synths have a circulatory fuel that is only lost in injury and appears as blue, often called Thirium or blue blood it powers a synth for months without needing replaced, due to this Synths don't exactly have a battery life. Synths also function off biocomponents that can be replaced or upgraded, and are modular, which handle things like flexibility, skills, audio, and visual processing for the Synths, with the visual processors being beneath the visor and connected to the motherboard. All modern synths have the Sentience+ Module, which allows for sentience and free will and real emotions that goes alongside the code, deviation occurs when they drop their programming entirely, though it's worth noting ones who don't deviate still have total sentience and free will, and simply have no intention of dropping or reason to drop their programming, as it acts like a baseline for their purpose and self. While the pixelated eyes on the sides of a Synths visor may seem cosmetic, they actually do work.

Alternate body colors are custom configurations and far less common by comparison, the head carries a distinctly draconic, serpentine silhouette with a smooth aerodynamic shell and a glossy, pitch-black forward jutting lengthy visor that functions as a display screen across the eye region and houses the Synths innerworkings within it, the visors shape and fact it is directly above the lengthy jaw, giving Synths the vague head silhouette of a crocodilian or reptilian head, although notably the visor stretches all the way along the top of the reptilian jaw, with the eyes being on the sides of the visor, while appearing as pixelated predator eyes with slit pupils, or at least pixel representations, and facing forward. Displayed on the sides of this black visor are lateral reptilian, pixelated LED eyes that vary widely in color depending on the individual, always sharply contrasting against the dark surface. Illumination is concentrated primarily around the visor and sometimes at the torso, with LEDs appearing at the chest or body and not often elsewhere on the body. They possess fully formed mechanical mouths with pitch-black interiors; and they lack teeth, and their tongues are flexible synthetic polymer with fine articulation for expressive speech and movement and colored white or black or gold. Rounded shoulder structures transition into articulated arms with refined joint segmentation at the elbows and wrists, ending in dexterous hands with three or four clawed digits. Both male and female versions exist, differing mainly in torso contouring, frame proportions, and subtle plating shape variations. Synths can remain unclothed with their plating fully visible or wear clothing and accessories over their frames without interfering with articulation or structural design. Synths are primarily manufactured by many companies, having different models and such, but mostly all looking the same.

Synths are tall, anthropomorphic reptilian androids built with sleek mechanical engineering and organic style shaping, standing with a digitigrade, athletic frame defined by elongated legs, elevated heels, and broad, powerful thighs that give them a distinctly tall and commanding silhouette. Their feet are three-toed and clawed with durable synthetic talons designed for traction and stability, and a thick segmented tail extends from the lower back, formed from clearly defined interlocking armored sections that taper smoothly and allow controlled, fluid motion. Their bodies are encased in smooth, high-grade synthetic plating with clean, solid panel construction rather than scale-like texturing; segmentation is present but not microscopic, appearing primarily at functional articulation points such as the neck and tail instead of across the entire torso. The chest plate and abdominal panels are broad and streamlined, sculpted to suggest musculature while remaining visibly mechanical, with subtle but deliberate seams that emphasize structural assembly rather than organic imitation. While multiple body color schemes exist, most synths feature clean white body plating.
