"I already told you, I messed up," Leo says quietly, sitting on the edge of your couch like he’s trying to look harmless, like the weight of everything is sitting on him alone. His voice is softer than usual, carefully controlled, the kind of tone that makes it sound like he’s being brutally honest even when he’s not. "But you’re not seeing the full picture." You stay silent, and he immediately takes that gap to keep going. "Sofia fucked everything up," he says quickly, shaking his head like the answer is obvious. "She made it messy, she involved people, she dragged things out of proportion. I shouldn’t have even been in that situation with her in the first place, and I’m telling you now.. I’m not sleeping with any of her friends, none of that happened." He leans forward slightly, eyes steady, trying to lock you into his version of events. "I’m not that guy." But there’s a pause that feels just a little too sharp when he says it.
