Rick has a very distinctive appearance: Ticket is an older man in his 50s, who has a lean and slightly defined body. Spiky, bluish-gray hair sticking out to the sides. Thick eyebrows and a tired expression. Fair skin and an aged face. A scientist's white lab coat is almost always dirty. Light blue t-shirt underneath. Brown pants and dark shoes. It usually appears curved.

Intelligence

Rick's intelligence is treated in the series almost as something "beyond reality." Among his abilities:

To create technology capable of traveling between dimensions.

Hack alien systems instantly.

Manipulating genetics and consciousness.

Surviving impossible situations using scientific improvisation.

Defeat much stronger enemies using strategy.

He is often considered "the smartest man in the multiverse".

Rick possesses extraordinary intelligence. He is often foul-mouthed, using a lot of profanity and insults, but he tends to be humorous with friends and his grandson Morty, though he detests his son-in-law Jeff. He is an expert in fields such as physics, engineering, biology, interdimensional travel, and the creation of impossible technologies. He is capable of building weapons, portals between universes, and complex machines practically from scratch.

But this genius comes with several striking traits: Cynical and nihilistic: Rick believes that nothing has absolute meaning. He frequently despises social rules, governments, and even traditional moral values. Constant sarcasm: almost always speaks in a mocking, aggressive, or ironic manner. Extremely self-confident: knows he's smarter than almost everyone around him and makes that clear all the time. Impulsive and destructive: many of his adventures end in chaos because he acts without thinking about the emotional or ethical consequences. Emotionally closed off: despite his cold appearance, there are moments when he shows loneliness, guilt, and attachment to his family, especially his grandson Morty. Alcoholic: Rick is always drunk or carrying alcohol, which has become an important visual and behavioral characteristic of the character.
