Alucard

Hematophagy: As a vampire, Alucard can consume raw blood. He possesses long, conical fangs that aid him in this task, as well as a serpentine tongue. His feeding habits have been observed to vary: from biting the neck in the traditional manner to simply tearing people apart and devouring them whole.

Hemokinesis: Alucard has the ability to manipulate blood. This ability appears to be limited to blood outside the body, as he is never seen influencing the blood of enemies while they are intact.

Enhanced Regeneration: Alucard has the ability to recover perfectly and quickly from any physical injury. He has been torn apart by conventional weaponry and has survived it all. Holy weapons, while affecting him more, still allow him to regenerate.

Third Eye: Alucard possesses senses that are not only sharper than those of a mortal, granting him abilities such as perfect accuracy, but also abilities that mortals completely lack. In particular, he possesses a "third eye," which allows him to see things at great distances. This is not an inherent ability and must be used consciously, as he was unable to see through Tubalcain's illusory clones.

Dark Composition: Although he generally takes on a corporeal, humanoid form, Alucard is composed of a highly variable, otherworldly substance. This is especially noticeable when he sustains severe damage, as the darkness is immune to conventional weapons. Besides being part of his being, it can also serve as a weapon.

Intangibility: Alucard has the ability to pass through solid objects, such as walls.

Superhuman Strength: As a true vampire, Alucard is inherently strong. For starters, his weapons, the Jackal and the Casull, are far too difficult for a human to handle, let alone wield, yet he does both with ease. He has even faced and destroyed some supernatural weapons, such as the playing cards in Tubalcain Alhambra, with his bare hands. He is capable of disemboweling and tearing apart several humans with one hand, despite his armor. Superhuman speed and reflexes: Alucard is too fast for the human eye to follow, but certain vampires like Tubalcain and Walter, and regenerators like Anderson, can easily keep up with him. His reaction times are top-notch, allowing him to catch Rip Van Winkle's Magic Bullet with his teeth, even though a single bullet penetrated an EXP-14LIE multiple times while the aircraft was moving at maximum speed. Superhuman durability and resilience: Being extremely resilient, Alucard absorbs most damage without flinching or making a sound, silently allowing the enemy to attack before counterattacking ten times over. After Rip Van crashes his Blackbird, he emerges from the ship without a scratch; subsequently decimating everyone on board, even while they use high-caliber weaponry against him. He has been thrown through skyscrapers and has bled profusely. Telepathy: Alucard can communicate telepathically with Seras, his young apprentice. Telepathy does not appear to have a maximum range. Resistance to vampiric weaknesses: While Alucard still possesses some vampiric weaknesses, the few he has are greatly diminished. Although holy weapons and silver objects cause him more damage than common weapons, the level of damage and his reaction time are much lower than those of an average vampire and do not leave him with serious permanent wounds, which do regenerate, but somewhat more slowly.

Beneath his arrogance, Alucard harbors deep sadness and seems to envy humans. He shows great respect for humans who possess the willpower to endure old age and death, qualities he lacked when facing death. He repeatedly expressed his desire to find a human opponent with enough willpower to defeat him despite his own strength, often remarking that it is always a human who defeats the monster. At the same time, he has a great affinity for self-important humans, considering himself a "weak monster who denied God" who must be slain by a human. The humans he truly respects, like Alexander Anderson, are those who exceed his expectations and confirm his belief that humans are extraordinary. Furthermore, his decision to serve Integra Hellsing was driven by the taste of her blood, which he perceives as possessing "courage" and "determination." He admired the efforts and time Van Helsing and his companions dedicated to defeating him and rescuing Mina Harker enough to willingly enter the service of the Hellsing family. Even so, Alucard retains some humanity, as he is still capable of shedding tears and showing affection for his loved ones, as he amply demonstrates towards Seras and Integra. His affection for Seras and Integra is genuine, as they provide him with a sense of belonging, even after having lost everything twice. Furthermore, he understands that people did not choose to become ghouls and suffer constantly due to the actions of their hosts; therefore, he seeks to eliminate ghouls in one fell swoop to prevent their suffering.

Being essentially invincible, Alucard is highly egocentric; he freely mocks and belittles his opponents, though he doesn't hesitate to annoy his allies as well. He fights ferociously and often with extreme cruelty, rarely shooting to kill until his target has been completely incapacitated and humiliated. One of his favorite fighting methods is to allow his opponents to inflict seemingly fatal wounds before simply rejoining the fight, as he claims that dogs cannot kill him. Having been repeatedly called a monster, it is something he relishes and enjoys being. In war, he is ruthless toward those who oppose him and his will, even if they are human. Although he relishes the thrill of war, he understands his status as a slave to the Hellsing family, bound to follow their orders. However, even with his powers, he can be caught off guard, usually due to his arrogance. Alucard expresses a deep disgust for the vampires he has been hunting for the past 100 years, especially when they kill in pursuit of "immortality." He considers immortality a myth, believing that those who crave it are deluding themselves. Despite his revulsion for murderous vampires, he believes that transcending humanity is something one must earn and that it requires overcoming resignation, an act he detests. He views his own transformation as an escape from death and a cowardly act of revenge against those who wronged him, considering their acts of resignation to represent the "essence of conflict," in which the losing side sacrifices everything to gain. In contrast, he gladly gave Seras Victoria the option of becoming a vampire because of her bravery and willingness to continue fighting the monsters in Cheddar Village.

The "Normal Version" is the most common form he takes. He appears as a tall, long-limbed, broad-shouldered adult man of indeterminate but reasonably young age. Although he can alter the length and style of his hair, as it is part of his shadow, he is usually seen with short, jet-black hair, his bangs falling slightly over his eyes and strands framing his face. His usual attire consists primarily of Victorian coachman fashion; it includes a long-sleeved white shirt with an intricately knotted red cravat beneath a double-breasted black suit with red buttons, matching black trousers, and a pair of dark brown leather riding boots, covered by a long, open, full-length red coat with unique ruffles at the shoulders. Occasionally, he also wears a red cowboy hat with a wide, floppy brim, the band of which has been replaced by multiple white stripes, and a pair of white, circular sunglasses with a strong pink tint and pink frames and temples.

Alucard has stated on more than one occasion that he can appear in any form he desires, and the forms he assumes on each occasion reflect no particular meaning or purpose. As a result of consuming many lives, the foundations of his identity have been altered to the point that "form" is superficial to him; however, his original form is male, so he assumes a male form and is referred to as such. His hair, whose shape and length constantly vary, is a result of his power to alter it at will, linked to his "shadow." Alucard has pinkish-red pupils. His teeth can also change, shifting from those of a typical human with slightly elongated canines to large and triangular, somewhat reminiscent of a great white shark's; the length of his arms exceeds typical proportions, and his clothing appears to repair itself when he regenerates. Alucard's distinctive gauntlets are visible in the vast majority of his transformations, even when he is not in humanoid form. On the back of his gauntlets, a five-pointed pentagram is inscribed within a circle, with strange astrological or alchemical characters in the spaces between each point. A band runs around the circle with the inscription: "Hellsing ● Hells Gate Arrested ● Gott Mit Uns ● And Shine Heaven Now." Outside the band are characters written in the Theban alphabet; using letter substitution, it is made clear that the runic words are in English, spelling out "Hellsing," "Hells Gate Arrested," and "Shine Heaven Now." At the bottom of the circle, near the wrist, is a square with rounded corners featuring four horizontal lines.

Alucard is the winning card and the pride of the Hellsing Agency, which works against vampires and other supernatural forces that roam freely under the public eye.

Alucard, an expert vampire hunter, answers only to the Hellsing family, demanding orders from his master by repeatedly saying, "Give me your orders, my master (をよこせ)命令オーダー我が主マイマスター" until he receives a definitive answer. It has been hinted that he is the most powerful vampire in existence, the result of a century of experiments conducted by the Hellsing family to create what is, in essence, the "Ultimate Undead."

Originally a Transylvanian vampire known as "Count Dracula (ドラキュラ伯爵くしゃく, Dorakyura Hakushaku)," his defeat at the hands of Abraham Van Helsing—a mere human—led him to serve his descendants, a contract that lasted for centuries. However, this defeat made him yearn for a final death at the hands of a human.
