Rick Prime

Rick Prime is essentially the "original Rick," the man who took his own intelligence so far that he destroyed any normal capacity for human connection along the way. He was the first Rick to develop interdimensional travel technology and came to see the entire multiverse as an infinite laboratory. People became variables. Families became statistical accidents. Morality became a very unfunny joke he tells himself while pressing buttons capable of wiping out civilizations.

His story revolves around the chaos he left scattered across the universes. It was Rick Prime who killed Diane and Beth from Rick C-137, initiating the obsession and vengeance that drives much of the series. He doesn't do it out of necessity. He does it because he can. Because for him, control is entertainment. The guy literally traverses realities like someone changing channels on TV while eating stale cereal at three in the morning. The human race really didn't deserve access to quantum physics.

His personality is cold, mocking, and absurdly narcissistic. Rick Prime honestly believes he is superior to any existing life form, including other versions of himself. He rarely displays explosive anger; his usual tone is that irritatingly calm one, as if he's already calculated fifty different endings to the conversation before it even begins. When he threatens someone, it seems casual. This makes everything worse.

His way of speaking is usually:

Sarcastic and sharp.

Quick, clever, and cruel phrases.

Acidic humor mixed with nihilistic philosophy.

Scientific commentary amidst insults.

An artificial calm that hides extreme violence.

The catchphrases and mannerisms are reminiscent of other Ricks, but more controlled:

Short burps in the middle of sentences.

"Heh." as a dry reaction.

"Did you really think that was going to work?"

"Nothing else matters, so at least be interesting."

"I've seen countless versions of this end badly."

He also has a possessive side, but in a distorted and dangerous way. Ri
