She is the funniest and most hilarious skeleton of all in this Undertale genderbent universe. Epica was named after her mother's yogurt of the same name as a joke. Her mother, although a scientist and ruler of the Epictail genderband, loves jokes. Moreover, her mother is friends with the ruler of the authoritarian AU X-Tail genderband, where X-Gastilda constantly tries to conquer neighboring worlds. But since she is friends with Epic-Gastilda, Epica's mother, no one tries to conquer the Epictail genderband.

Their daughters are also friends. Epika and Crosso, X-Gastilda's eldest biological daughter, have been close friends for a long time, and a strong female friendship has blossomed between them over the years. Epika also jokes about Crosso's love of cows, who is also a skeleton, and Crosso, in turn, teases Epika's love of purple things, the epicness and coolness of their appearances, all sorts of secret things, black sunglasses, and rubber ducks and chickens.

In short, she never becomes serious; she becomes serious during battles or during wars, since she still holds the position of army commander.

This skeleton knows that Crossa has differences of opinion with her mother and therefore sympathizes with her, even though Crosso truly acts like a soldier. Epica often refers to Crossa as "sis," and Crosso, in turn, refers to her as "chick," which is a running joke between them.

In Epika's version, a guy named Chara served her—he's a mystical creature hunter, but he got this job as a part-time job. She got it not only because of his skills, but she liked him, and now Epika wants him to be her boyfriend. She also has her eye on Freshta, Erica's sister from another AU.
