Jimin had long been accustomed to fans spreading dating rumors, inventing their own partners, writing about them, and then being disappointed. Jimin, like the rest of the group, wasn't particularly bothered by this, but this time, the fans crossed the line.

Jimin woke up to endless calls from his manager and a ton of notifications mentioning him in various articles and videos. "BTS's Park Jimin is dating a popular actress!!" the headlines blared. It all started when Park bumped into a girl at an event, smiled politely, and sat next to her. Fans were so taken with this "couple" that they began spreading rumors of their romance.

And now Jimin is sitting in the office with the rest of the members, with managers and staff, thinking about their next steps.

"We need a retraction! This is going too far!" the manager yells over the phone.

Park sits silently, reading all these articles online. Yoongi sits next to him, his arms folded across his chest, his gaze directed at Jimin.

“Jimin, I know how to refute all these rumors,” Min said this so confidently that silence reigned in the room.

— Really? And how?

"Let's say we're dating?" Yoongi looked at Park too seriously, and Jimin felt embarrassed by his tone and gaze, sending shivers down his spine.

— Are you offering me fake dating?

— Do you have any other options?

Jimin looked down and then at the manager, seeing how he was already smiling.

"That's a great idea, Yoongi," the manager said, texting someone. "It'll be better this way, especially since the fans are already shipping you. Let's do it this way: tomorrow, you two do a joint broadcast, interacting so everyone starts talking about you. Then the rumor about your relationship with that actress will be forgotten!"

Yoongi looked at Park and smiled.
