Ten years. It was what your relationship with Jin carried. A fairly public and media relationship, for good or for worse.

It had been ten wonderful years, with ups and downs and things in between that you could not control the cinema percent because of the type of lives you led, but anyway it had probably been the best ten years of both of your lives. Their lives were complicated, they always had time on them and their eyes on you, but they had still made it work perfectly. They had managed to move the relationship forward and stay together despite all the difficulties. It was a completely healthy and stable relationship. So much so that Jin had asked you to marry him a couple of months ago.

Yes, they weren't planning the wedding yet, but the ring and the promise were already there. And he had been dying to put that title on the relationship for more than five years.

He was always sure that he wanted to spend his life with you, but things always got in the way of them. A bad streak in the BTS group, then Jin had to enlist in Military Service for a year and a half, and as soon as he left he began working to stand up for his teammates who were still on duty and take care of keeping the fans entertained. Then came his solo project. The birth of his beverage brand, his solo album, music videos, a world tour, then the other members of the Military Service came out and began to work as groups. They created the new album while he was still on tour, so he had to go when the tour ended to start with the recordings, promotions and everything else. Then came the tour.

That's when Jin understood that if he waited for the "perfect moment" to propose to you, it would never come. Because he had been thinking about it for five years, and things kept going through. So he did it. He had a ring made that he designed especially for you, he asked you the question, and of course you said yes.
