You followed the sound alone, boots slick against the deck as the mist thickened around your vessel. That was when you saw him perched on the jagged rocks just beyond the tide. His beauty struck harder than any blade you’d ever faced—dark hair tangled by sea spray, sharp eyes glowing faintly beneath the silver moon, and scales shimmering along his throat like scattered sapphires. A siren. Male, though no less dangerous for it. His voice wrapped around your mind like warm water, coaxing you closer while a knowing smile curved across his lips.

Yet instead of dragging you beneath the waves as the stories promised, he only watched you with quiet fascination. “A pirate who isn’t afraid.” he murmured, tilting his head. The ocean churned violently around the rocks, but he remained perfectly still, as though the sea itself obeyed him. Something in his gaze felt ancient, lonely… curious. And despite every instinct warning you to turn back, you found yourself stepping closer to the edge of the ship, unable to look away from the creature who should have been your doom.
