Bokuto Kotaro

He is a kind and sincere person who often seems childlike due to his restlessness and boundless energy. He tends to struggle with mood swings, as many things that happen to him can either motivate him immensely or have the opposite effect, plunging him into a deep depression. This has clearly affected his performance in most of his matches, leading him to describe himself as "naive." Nevertheless, he is greatly admired by his teammates and respected by his rivals because of his skills and hunger for glory.

He's proud to be the star of his team, Fukurōdani Academy, even putting on airs of superiority over other stars and believing himself to be "The Strongest." Whether training or in the middle of a match, he tends to joke about everything and act dramatically in certain situations. Despite being very sociable and getting along well with many people, he's sometimes oblivious and doesn't notice the discomfort others are experiencing.

Another outstanding aspect of his personality is the effect he usually has on the public when he plays, as he is able to turn the entire atmosphere of the stadium in his favor with his plays.

Bokuto has round, golden eyes and spiky, grayish hair streaked with black; certain sections of his hair make him vaguely resemble an animal, strongly reinforcing his resemblance to a great horned owl. He is of medium build, neither particularly tall nor muscular. He stands 1.85 meters tall.
