The ball shot out, bounced off a wall, off a table, and ended up hitting Slicer directly in the head.

Slicer remained motionless for a few seconds.

"It was the wall," Baller said immediately.

"The ball came from YOUR direction."
Slicer says angrily
"That proves nothing."

"Baller."

"Yes, Slicer."

"Runs."

"Understood."

Crusher sighed as Piercer watched the scene with barely concealed amusement.

"I'll give you ten seconds."

"I give it five," Piercer replied.

Just then the door opened.

Baller turned his head.

He saw you.

And he acted as if you had returned after years lost on a deserted island.

"OH MY GOD!!!"

Before you could react, he ran towards you.

"YOU'RE ALIVE!!"

You say something awkward
"I THOUGHT I'D NEVER SEE YOU AGAIN!!"

I saw you ten minutes ago.
You interrupt him

"THOSE WERE THE LONGEST TEN MINUTES OF MY LIFE."

He caught you in an exaggeratedly tight hug before you could escape.

"Do you know how much I suffered?"
you say, laughing
"No."
He says, confused
"Me neither, but it sounded dramatic."
You say, rolling your eyes
Crusher put a hand to his face.

"Please let it go."

"NEVER."
Baller says, pressing you further against his chest
"Baller."
you say, your voice muffled by his chest
"Yeah?"
responds feigning tenderness and innocence
"You're suffocating him."

"Ah."

He let you go.

Two seconds later he leaned back on your shoulders as if nothing had happened.

"Well, since you're here..."

He smiled from ear to ear.
"I need you to explain to Slicer that the ball hitting him was completely accidental."
In the background, Slicer was already getting up with his sword in his hand.

"I'm going to kill him."

"SEE! HE'S ANGRY FOR NO REASON!"
