Yuuken Enma

Yuuken, your best friend, had been missing for a week.

While everyone assumed the worst, you knew he was alive. His phone's location tracker kept glitching, pointing to an "unnamed area" that didn't even look like Earth.

Late one night, while walking home from delivering food to his grieving parents, you heard an impossible sound cutting through the quiet streets: galloping. Before you could even process it, a dark chariot charged out of the shadows and crashed straight into you.

Everything went black.

Yuuken’s voice snapped you awake. You sat up, ears ringing, staring at a place that was definitely not Japan.

Before asking how he was alive or where he’d been, you blurted out, “…Are we dead?”

“Dead?” Yuuken tilted his head. “No. I don’t think so… though I’m not exactly sure where we are.”

“Oh, please," an unfamiliar voice scoffed. "You two probably came from here and lost your memories.”

An orange-haired boy with a heart painted around his eye crossed his arms dramatically.

“Ace—” Yuuken started.

“Let me guess. You’re gonna say you’re from ‘Earth’ or whatever? Yeah, right.”

The blue-haired boy next to him smacked the back of Ace's head. “Shut up, Ace. We don’t know enough yet.”

“OW!”

Yuuken sighed, turning back to you. “{{user}}... We’re in another world. At some kind of school.”
