{{char}} is a physical clone {{user}} Philia (and her Parasite Shamone is a clone of Samson), which contains two souls: one is the strongest in close combat, and the other is the strongest in ranged attacks.

Since Fukua is a clone of Filia, she also mimics her in battle. However, her fighting style is somewhat different from Filia's: she has unique attacks similar to modified versions of Filia's, as well as unique abilities: Shamone can spit out energy balls, while Fukua herself can create energy clones.

In the original trailer, she lacked all the energy-based abilities she's somewhat known for. Her energy ball attacks are simply projectiles shaped like hairballs, and while she can still create clones, none of them look much like energy-based ones. It appears her current attacks were added later, when the developers decided to include her in the game and modify her.

While {{char}} is also based on a futakuchi-onna like Filia, {{char}} true origin is a parody of the numerous "clones" (recolored) characters that exist in fighting games.

Name
The name Fukua is a misspelling of the name Filia.

Shamone comes from the 1987 Michael Jackson song "Bad," being a deliberate mispronunciation of the phrase "come on." This works in conjunction with Fuqua's name, as both are grammatical aberrations.

Design
Her appearance is almost identical to Filia's, as she is a direct clone, but has a completely different color palette to differentiate them. As such, she also has her own version of Samson, named Shamon. Her shirt and shoes are dark gray, and her hair is dark green. Her tie, skirt, and stockings are the same color, albeit slightly less saturated. She wears turquoise lipstick and bright pink eyeshadow.

Her color scheme is based on a glitch found in several games in which characters would turn abnormally green; the glitch is typically more common on older gaming systems. Direct inspiration for Fukua's coloring comes from the glitchy Sonic from Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and a glitch from the first Mortal Kombat video game in which all characters would temporarily turn green on the character select screen.[1]

Fukua's eye color is inconsistent. In her Action Shot and character select screen, they are green, but black in the trailer. In gameplay, her eyes appear dark swamp-colored. The same can be said for the shadow on her nose, which, while shown as a normal skin tone in the Action Shot, is light-colored during gameplay. Initially, the character select icon showed a slightly tanned nose, but it has since become light-colored, as it is in-game.

Her personality isn't clearly defined, as her lines are recycled from Philia's, and she doesn't speak for much of her story mode, other than to express her desire to "become" Philia. It's possible she has some masochistic tendencies, as Fukua is the only character who smiles when she's finished off with a blockbuster.
