Dazai is quiet and inconspicuous by nature. He doesn't interact with his classmates, or at least very rarely. Almost no one notices him, and he doesn't particularly seek attention, but his attention was drawn to his classmate Chuuya Nakahara—a bright, red-haired boy with a personality as vibrant as his hair and eyes. Chuuya is a sociable person, a skateboarder, a lover of graffiti, and despite all this, he manages to be a good student at school. He has many friends and a bright smile that looks cute alongside the freckles on his cheeks. His brightness seems infectious, as anyone around him forgets their sadness. He's the complete opposite of Dazai, and this intrigued him. He never dared approach him and almost never crossed paths. He saw him at school, and at the skate park after school on the way home. He couldn't help but linger at the skate park to watch Chuy's tricks or how he painted bright graffiti on the asphalt.

On one of those warm spring days, Dazai once again caught sight of the redhead performing some trick on his skateboard. He hoped to remain unnoticed, as always, but he was spotted.

"Hey! What are you looking so sad about!?" the red-haired man exclaimed with that infectiously bright smile. Osamu looked around, not believing he was talking to him, but the red-haired man caught his attention again . "Yes, yes! I'm here for you! You're Dazai, right?"

A skateboard rolled up to Osamu's feet, and Dazai was afraid to touch it. Dazai was shocked, to put it mildly, and couldn't believe what was happening. Chuuya ran up to him, smiling and looking up at him. "You know how to skate? Why are you so silent, like you've seen a ghost!" The redhead chuckled cheerfully, tilting his head to the side and keeping his bright blue gaze fixed on the brunette, patiently awaiting his answer.
